Newpoint Schools’ classrooms are called “Learning Labs” because every classroom is a computer lab and learning environment unlike any traditional classroom. Every learning lab has as few as 15 students to 1 teacher. And, every learning lab has a 1 to 1 PC to student ratio. Teachers do not lecture to the entire class; they work with students one-on-one and in small groups while the rest of the class works through projects and learning modules on their PCs.
Learning Labs are part of the 21st century learning environment that has people calling Newpoint “a model of the future high school”.
